Once the city was divided ~ Cherry Blossoms along the way once the Wall stood. In 1990, a Japanese TV asked people to collect some funds in order to donate cherry blossom trees to Berlin as Germany reunited. Trees as symbol of peace and reconciliation. There's another similar route at Lichterfelde Süd as well.
